Warner Bros and DC Studios have announced their new Clark Kent and Lois Lane. David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan will now play the iconic duo in James Gunn's "Superman: Legacy".
Casting for the film has been a months-long process, with these final two actors being tested over two days with Peter Safran and Gunn. One of the days was a test in full costumes. The most recent actors to play the couple were Henry Cavill and Amy Adams. Yet to be cast are Superman's arch-nemesis Lex Luthor as well as other supporting characters like Jimmy Olsen.
David Corenswet is an American actor who rose to prominence for his portrayal of River Barkley in the Netflix series "The Politician." He gained recognition for his compelling performances in the show that follows the ambitions of a wealthy high school student who dreams of becoming the President of the United States.
Rachel Brosnahan is best known for her role in "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel", which follows the story of Miriam "Midge" Maisel, a housewife in the 1950s who discovers her talent for stand-up comedy and pursues a career in the male-dominated field.
