Mitch Neuhauser, Managing Director of CinemaCon, today announced Joseph Quinn as the recipient of the distinguished Breakthrough Performer of the Year Award for 2024. The award is a key feature of the annual CinemaCon event, the official convention of the National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO), set to take place at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas from April 8-11, 2024.

The Big Screen Achievement Awards ceremony, scheduled for Thursday, April 11 at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace and sponsored by The Coca-Cola Company, will spotlight the award presentation to Quinn.

Neuhauser praised Quinn for his remarkable growth in the film industry, notably his significant role in "Stranger Things" and his involvement in major upcoming projects like "A Quiet Place: Day One" and "Gladiator 2", as well as the highly anticipated "The Fantastic Four".

Quinn's next major appearance will be in "A Quiet Place: Day One", releasing nationwide on June 28, 2024. Directed by Michael Sarnoski and produced by Michael Bay and John Krasinski, the film promises a thrilling experience with co-stars Lupita Nyong'o, Alex Wolff, and Djimon Hounsou.

Born in London, Quinn's acting journey began with roles in BBC series such as "Dickensian" and "Les Misérables", and his portrayal of Eddie Munson in "Stranger Things" brought him international acclaim. His stage work includes performances at the Royal Court Theatre and the National Theatre.

With a growing resume that includes "Make Up", the upcoming "Hoard", "Fantastic Four", and "Relapse", Quinn's dynamic range and compelling performances have firmly established him as a star on the rise in the entertainment world.
