CinemaCon, the official convention of the National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO), is scheduled to take place from April 8 to April 11, 2024, at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The ceremony bestowing Quaid with this special accolade will be held on the evening of Thursday, April 11, at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The event will be hosted by The Coca-Cola Company, the official presenting sponsor.

Neuhauser highlighted Quaid's remarkable career trajectory, spanning from compelling dramas to exhilarating thrillers, as a testament to his unparalleled talent and versatility as an actor. Quaid's ability to immerse himself in diverse roles has captivated audiences worldwide for decades, reflecting his dedication to delivering authentic portrayals. With a career marked by iconic performances, Quaid emerges as a true Hollywood luminary, deserving of recognition with the Cinema Icon Award.

Later this year, audiences will witness Quaid's portrayal of Ronald Reagan in ShowBiz Direct's upcoming release, "Reagan," slated to hit theaters nationwide on August 30, 2024. The film chronicles Reagan's journey from his humble beginnings in Dixon, IL, to his ascent to Hollywood stardom and eventually to the Presidency of the United States. Quaid's portrayal is anticipated to offer a captivating insight into the life of the iconic leader, complemented by stellar performances from co-stars Penelope Ann Miller and Kevin Dillon.

In addition to his cinematic endeavors, Quaid's production company, Bonniedale, is set to release "The Long Game" on April 12, 2024.
