Robert Downey Jr.'s Coffee Brand Reveals Eight Collectible Marvel Cans Ahead of Avengers: Doomsday

As anticipation builds for the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday release, food and beverage brands begin to drop new collaborations. Taking over the role of Doctor Doom, Robert Downey Jr. gives Marvel fans a treat to enjoy prior to the premiere. His coffee brand, happy, revealed eight collectible can designs. For this latest Marvel chapter, it seems that coffee, not shawarma, is on the menu.

Previously, happy has collaborated with other well-known brands, including brands owned by fellow Marvel actors. The BERO and happy non-alcoholic stout was well received. The robust, yet smooth, NA beer not only had everyone's "spidey" senses perked up, but it also brought innovation to the beverage space.

With the new Avengers: Doomsday offering, the specialty release is as much about the packaging as it is the beverage inside the can. While Downey admitted that there are no spoilers in these designs, this coffee is the beverage to fuel the Doomsday excitement brewing leading up to the December 18 premiere.

The eight specialty cans feature popular characters from the Marvel Universe. Designs include Black Panther, Captain America, Gambit, Mister Fantastic, Mystique, The Thing, and Thor. Also, Downey's version of Doctor Doom is included.

The specialty designs are featured on four of happy's most popular ready-to-drink coffee flavors. They include classic cold brew, Tahitian vanilla cold brew, vanilla latte, and chocolatey chip latte.

As coffee drinkers have come to appreciate, happy's RTD beverages are incredibly smooth, never bitter, and quite drinkable. Whether enjoyed as a morning ritual, afternoon pick-me-up, or anytime enjoyment, the coffees fit any and every occasion when a boost is appreciated.

It is unknown if one design will be more elusive than others. One thing is clear. Marvel fans will be clamoring to collect every single one.

The collectible cans are a smart way to introduce happy to people who have not sipped on the RTD coffee before. The visually compelling design attracts fans, and the tasty beverage brings them back for more.

As the brand's co-founder Craig Dubitsky said, "A company called happy collaborating with a movie called Doomsday felt too perfect to pass up. Great films like this create anticipation, participation, connection and, ultimately, joy. That's the business we're in, too. Coffee is our first delivery system, with plenty more ways to deliver that feeling ahead."

Could additional future Marvel-related offerings be planned? Based on this limited-time drop's predicted success, it seems likely that some type of Avengers: Secret Wars collaboration is coming.

The happy Avengers: Doomsday limited-edition RTD cans are available at various national retailers, including Albertsons banners, Amazon, H-E-B, Kroger stores, pOpshelf, Raley's Supermarkets, Schnucks, Sheetz, and select CVS and Target locations. Check with individual retailers for availability and pricing.
