Warner Bros. Pictures, in conjunction with FlickDirect, is offering families in Miami and Orlando free advance screening passes to THE CAT IN THE HAT on November 2, four days before the animated adventure opens nationwide.

Dr. Seuss' most mischievous character is heading back to the big screen, this time with Bill Hader providing the voice. FlickDirect readers in Miami and Orlando can see THE CAT IN THE HAT before its theatrical release, with complimentary advance screenings scheduled for Monday, November 2, at 7:00 PM.

The new animated film follows Gabby and Sebastian, two siblings struggling to settle into a new town. Their lives take an unexpected turn when the Cat in the Hat arrives with an assignment from the Institute for the Institution of Imagination and Inspiration, an organization that apparently considers him qualified to help children through difficult times.

His mission is simple enough: cheer up the siblings and help them feel at home. Unfortunately, the Cat has never been particularly good at keeping things simple. His attempts to help quickly turn into a series of increasingly ridiculous adventures, with Thing 1 and Thing 2 adding their own brand of chaos.

There's also something at stake for the Cat himself. If he fails to complete his assignment, he risks losing his magical hat, a consequence that might finally be enough to make him take the job seriously.

Hader leads a voice cast that includes Xochitl Gomez, Matt Berry, Quinta Brunson, Paula Pell, Tiago Martinez, Giancarlo Esposito, America Ferrera, Bowen Yang, and Tituss Burgess.

Directed by Alessandro Carloni and Erica Rivinoja, who also wrote the screenplay, THE CAT IN THE HAT brings Dr. Seuss' familiar characters into a new story created for the big screen. Warner Bros. Pictures will release the film in theaters on November 6, 2026.
