Lady Bird Allison Rose |  Mar 05, 2018 Gerwig hits the nail on the head for her first solo directorial project.  There are no odd camera angles or superfluous shots. As the writer, her insight into this mother daughter relationship is raw and gritty and makes one wonder how much comes from her own life. Full Review  | Grade: A

Thor: Ragnarok Allison Rose |  Mar 05, 2018 The latest Thor movie does its best to reinvent itself from the serious superhero, “save the world” usual fare into more of a humorous, Guardians of the Galaxy kind of way but sadly it just doesn’t mesh well with what we know of the series. Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri Allison Rose |  Mar 02, 2018 Three Billboards wasn’t as gut-wrenching as I originally thought it would be but it was still emotional.  Phenomenally acted it reminds us that actions have consequences and not just for ourselves. Full Review  | Grade: A

Murder on the Orient Express Allison Rose |  Mar 01, 2018 The cast of this remake is veritable who’s who of Hollywood elite. Unfortunately, this script doesn’t give any of them a meaty enough part to sink their teeth into.  While terrific as usual, none of then deliver an Oscar-worthy performance. Lady And The Tramp Signature Collection Allison Rose |  Feb 27, 2018 If you are a Disney fan or have little ones at home this is a purchase you certainly want to make. Disney movies are always a treat and this older one certainly stands the test of time and remains an enjoyable story told through the eyes of some adorable dogs. Full Review  | Grade: A

Darkest Hour Allison Rose |  Feb 25, 2018 Darkest Hour offers a look into a very specific and limited time frame in Churchill’s reign.
