Capone Biopic to be Released by Warner Bros.

According to Variety, Warner Bros. will be releasing a film about the origins of the infamous gangster, Al Capone. The film will be titled, "Cicero"

The script has been written by Walon Green, who also wrote "The Wild Bunch", "Eraser" and "Robocop 2". It will chronicle the rise of Capone from the slums of Brooklyn to his becoming the head of the criminal underworld in Chicago. Cicero, a city on the outskirts of Chicago, was the place where Capone set up shop in and whose government he took over in 1924.

The film will be produced by John Leshar.
