Seth MacFarlane is heading back into the film arena with a new project called "A Million Ways to Die in the West".

The film is described as a "Blazing Saddles"-esque western comedy, and MacFarlane is set to direct and star in the project. 

Media Rights Capital, who financed "Ted", and producer Scott Stuber have also joined the project. 

Shooting will begin during the summer.
