"24: Legacy" will focus on a military hero, Eric Carter, and his return back to the U.S., along with all the issues that come back to the States with him. He enlists the help of CTU to protect his life, and potentially the lives of countless others, trying to stop a large scale terror attack.
Sutherland will still be on the payroll, however. He will be an executive producer for the series alongside original "24" producers Howard Gordon, Manny Coto, Evan Katz and Imagine's Brian Grazer.
