Cylar played Earl in Me And Earl And The Dying Girl, the Blue Ranger in Lionsgate's Power Rangers film, and recently starred in Netflix's War Machine, which also starred Brad Pitt.
The film will be based on the memoir Book Of Luke: My Fight For Truth, Justice And Liberty City. It will follow the story of Luther's and the band's rise to infamy, as they eventually found themselves defending their freedom of speech and the right for bands to sample music fairly.
The Book Of Luke script is being written by Craig A. Williams.
