Lionsgate, in conjunction with FlickDirect, is giving Florida movie fans the opportunity to see MUTINY early at special advance screenings in Miami, Orlando, and Tampa.
Jason Statham is back in action in MUTINY, and FlickDirect readers have the opportunity to see his latest thriller before it opens nationwide. Lionsgate is offering complimentary advance screening passes for special presentations in Miami, Orlando, and Tampa on Tuesday, August 18.
Statham stars as Cole Reed, a man who witnesses the murder of his billionaire boss only to find himself framed for the crime. Forced to go on the run, Reed boards a cargo ship and begins a one-man mission to avenge his friend's death. His pursuit of the truth soon reveals something far larger than a single murder: an international conspiracy.
MUTINY is directed by Jean-François Richet, whose credits include Plane and Blood Father, and written by J.P. Davis and Lindsay Michel. Statham also serves as a producer alongside Marc Butan.
Joining Statham are Annabelle Wallis, Adrian Lester, Roland Møller, Arnas Fedaravičius, Ramon Tikaram, and Jason Wong. Lionsgate will release the action thriller nationwide on August 21, 2026. The film is rated R for strong/bloody violence and language and has a running time of 95 minutes.
