Jurassic World VelociCoaster Comes To The Universal Orlando Resort in 2021
Universal Orlando Resort is known for some incredible rollercoasters that offer amazing thrills and unbelievable upside-down loops, twists, and turns. From Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure to The Incredible Hulk Coaster, guests are able to enjoy some heart-pounding, adrenaline-inducing good times. Starting in Summer 2021, there will be even more to like when Jurassic World VelociCoaster debuts.
Expected to be Florida's fastest and tallest launch roller coaster, VelociCoaster will travel 70 mph and over 150 feet in the air via almost 5,000 feet of track. Located in Universal's Islands of Adventure theme park, riders will feel the rush of the hunt alongside a pack of Velociraptors as they maneuver through a high-speed jungle chase. The coaster will join the Jurassic Park River Adventure and the Rapture Enclosure attraction in Jurassic Park.
Guests can expect a 360-degree barrel roll mere feet above the Islands of Adventure lagoon, a zero-gravity inverted stall, Universal's steepest drop yet -80 degrees from a height of 155 feet, and 12 seconds of airtime as riders are lifted from their seats. It will also include and original story expanding upon the blockbuster franchise starring Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy), Bryce Dallas Howard (Rocketman), and BD Wong (Mr. Robot).
