Jean-Claude Van Damme Set to Star in "Kill 'Em All 2" with Antigua as the Stunning Backdrop

Veteran action star Jean-Claude Van Damme is gearing up for a thrilling return to the big screen with the much-anticipated sequel, "Kill ‘Em All 2." The action-packed film is set to be shot on the picturesque Caribbean island of Antigua, starting in January.

The decision to shoot "Kill ‘Em All 2" on the idyllic island of Antigua comes as part of Andrea Iervolino's commitment to expanding entertainment opportunities in the West Indies. Last year, local authorities entrusted Iervolino, known for his work on projects like "Ferrari", to enhance film and TV shoots in the region, with a specific focus on benefiting Antigua and Barbuda.

Italian producer Andrea Iervolino is collaborating with Dario Item, the Ambassador of Antigua and Barbuda to Spain, the Principality of Monaco, the Principality of Liechtenstein, and the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). Together, they aim to bring attention to the beauty of Antigua and strengthen cultural ties between Europe and the West Indies through cinematic endeavors.

"Kill ‘Em All 2" continues the story from its predecessor, where Phillip (Van Damme) and Suzanne, retired from the spy game, find themselves living peacefully off the grid. However, their tranquility is disrupted when Vlad, the vengeful brother of their previous target, discovers their whereabouts. The sequel promises an adrenaline-fueled narrative, with the added element of family involvement as Van Damme's daughter, Bianca Brigitte Van Damme, joins the cast. James Agnew is credited with the screenplay.

The film is being produced by Andrea Iervolino and Lady Monika Bacardi through their publicly held studio, Iervolino & Lady Bacardi Entertainment. Speaking about the project, Iervolino expressed his delight at having Jean-Claude Van Damme on board and emphasized Antigua's unique beauty as an extraordinary backdrop for the production.

"I am delighted and honored that Jean-Claude Van Damme has agreed to be part of this exciting project. The beauty of Antigua, with its unique atmosphere, will provide an extraordinary backdrop for the production of this film. This initiative not only furthers our commitment to the film industry but aims to help strengthen cultural and collaborative ties between Europe and the West Indies," said Iervolino.

Ambassador of Antigua and Barbuda Dario Item added, "This initiative is an important step in strengthening cultural and artistic ties between nations. We are pleased to support a project that not only promotes the art of cinema but will also help raise awareness of Antigua and Barbuda globally. We welcome this production as an example of cross-continental collaboration that will bring lasting benefits to our communities."
