Netflix Adds Season Download Feature on iOS Devices

Netflix has announced that it is rolling out a highly anticipated feature to its core streaming service. With just one tap on Apple iOS devices, the ability to download an entire season of a TV series will now be available. Previously available only on Android, this feature will significantly expand access, offering a smoother and more convenient way to download every episode from a selected season. 

The new download option will be conveniently located next to the share button in the Netflix app's interface, making it easy for users to quickly download entire seasons. This addition is a game-changer for those who prefer to watch offline, whether they're commuting, on a camping trip, or flying in areas with poor or no internet connectivity.

In conjunction with the launch of this feature, Netflix shared a list of the most downloaded seasons of all time on the platform: "Squid Game" Season 1, "Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story", "Squid Game" Season 2, "ONE PIECE", and "Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story". 

Netflix is always evolving. Just last year, it introduced a feature allowing users to share memorable moments from Netflix shows directly on social media, further enhancing its social engagement. The streamer recently reported an impressive 19 million new subscribers last quarter.
