Fathom Entertainment Unveils 2025 Big Screen Classics Lineup

Fathom Entertainment, the premier specialty distributor of theatrical content, has announced its 2025 lineup for the beloved Fathom's Big Screen Classics series at CinemaCon®, the world's leading theatrical exhibition convention hosted by the National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO) at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The announcement was made by Fathom Entertainment CEO Ray Nutt during his opening remarks at the event's industry luncheon.

Nutt highlighted the return of numerous beloved films to the big screen in 2025, each accompanied by exclusive introductions from esteemed film critic, historian, and cinema legend Leonard Maltin. These special presentations will provide audiences with fascinating insights into each film's legacy and historical significance.

"Fathom Entertainment's remarkable revenue growth over the past two years has been due to a number of factors, including the smart and strategic hard work of the Fathom team and the long-standing support of our theatrical partners. Nearly 60% of this increase has been the result of Fathom successfully leveraging repertory films, including the ‘Fathom's Big Screen Classics' series," said Nutt. "The appeal of classic and timeless films endures and is a bedrock element of our content offerings. Fathom is so very pleased with this year's slate of classic film offerings and is delighted to continue our association with Leonard Maltin to cast a spotlight on these cinematic treasures."

Fathom's Big Screen Classics 2025 Lineup:

The series kicked off earlier this year on January 19 with a special 40th-anniversary screening of The Goonies.

Renowned film historian Leonard Maltin will once again provide exclusive introductions for each film, offering audiences a deeper understanding of their cultural impact. With decades of experience on Entertainment Tonight, Turner Classic Movies, STARZ, and ENCORE, Maltin remains a trusted voice in cinema. His popular podcast, Maltin on Movies, and his long tenure as a professor at USC's School of Cinematic Arts further solidify his expertise.
