Brad Pitt heads into the unforgiving Alaskan wilderness in HEART OF THE BEAST, the new adventure thriller from acclaimed filmmaker David Ayer. After a harrowing plane crash, Special Forces officer James Belmont (Pitt) and his combat dog, Odin, find themselves stranded deep in the Alaskan wilderness. Together, they are forced into a brutal fight for survival against the elements.
At the center of HEART OF THE BEAST is the unbreakable bond between Belmont and Odin as the soldier and his canine companion confront an environment where survival becomes their greatest battle yet.
David Ayer, whose filmmaking career has frequently explored soldiers, law enforcement, loyalty, and survival, directs from a screenplay by Cameron Alexander. Pitt also serves as a producer alongside Olivia Hamilton, Marty Bowen, and Ayer.
Joining Pitt in the cast are J.K. Simmons and Anna Lambe. Paramount Pictures presents the film in association with Domain Entertainment and Gulfstream Pictures, with Wild Chickens, Temple Hill, and Kino World producing.
HEART OF THE BEAST opens in theaters nationwide on September 25, 2026.
