how's it going Sean Ferguson conflict the rest and how are you doing great Newman I forgot my name for so many questions over and over again and the simple answers start to become difficult to recall yeah yeah like this when you got how many people thousand it feels like and they're all watching you yeah yeah yeah is this your first big comic-con event we did San Diego I've been slowly easing my way into it but this is the first one when people have actually seen the show right at San Diego it was still in the wind up with just getting people to pay attention to us and now there's a little more context so so I'm hearing that you weren't exactly the biggest athlete and now they've got you yeah yeah yeah by tearing it up you mean like pulling muscles and tearing up my my tendons and getting charley horses yeah I mean it's like you know these two contradictory things which are I got into acting because I hated sports and needed something else to define myself I but also all I ever want to do was to play a superhero that was always my dream which I never thought I'd get to do because there very few superheroes that fit me or superhero suits that are in my size but I never actually thought about how much physical activity is required from it right so I like prep for it and then the first thing the job I was like oh Jesus Christ I just signed a big cheque for myself that's a full workout yeah well it looks like it's a lot of work and we're so excited we can't wait to see the next part of the season because we know you're kind of in midseason right now yeah yeah yeah it's definitely it's one arc you know it's these two six Episode halves really function is one story but I think there's the break in between isn't just out of necessity there's kind of the first half the season I'd say is Arthur convincing himself that he's a hero and the second half is him have been convinced everyone else that he's a hero well we can't wait to see what's gonna happen next thank you so much for coming out you're talking I have to admit this I was a huge fan of The Big Bad News Bears when I was a kid oh wow actually like it's my whole childhood when I was down yeah oh boy and I sucked at baseball I was I was that good at it either it was it was just a really bad sight but but I wanted to talk so we got a talk tick here because you went from you were shocked in the watchman and now you're in the tip so tell me how you're terrorizing the city now well I mean they're just two completely different characters you know the terror to me is kind of like the exact opposite of the tick because there are a lot of characters that you know that are kind of like growing and developing through the course of the first season and you know the the tick really seems to be this this uh you know superhero that unlike you know so many nowadays where they've got this dark past that they're trying to work through by being a superhero he's just that good old that old-school superhero is just nothing about but you know being good and doing the right thing and saving people and you know and trying to show Arthur is destiny and Suppan and I think the terror literally is the exact opposite he's nothing about pure but but about pure evil and manipulation and and those types of machinations so if you got to bring your character into today's society what would be the first thing that you do if I could bring the terror in today's society what's the first thing right into it oh well I've you know I just wouldn't even want to answer that because that's what that's like putting pure evil into our real world right because this kid characters you know pure evil in this in this you know funny made-up world and you know I think we've got you know enough evil going on you know as it is I mean I still I think beauty and love kind of still outweighs the evil somehow if not I think we'd be completely off the rails but it is surprising you know how much evil and crazy shit's going on well the good thing is is in your worlds to tick protecting us right but we enjoy watching you at the same time awesome thank you so much good luck thank you appreciate it take care I've got the kick here right now ah okay so right off the bat I gotta ask you what's your favorite tic saying you're as fresh as a daisy so how's your comic-con going so far all right it's going okay you know we're not really seeing that much of it because you know we're doing lots of just lots of stuff like this that's a photo shoots and interviews and so we're not seeing any of the fun stuff you know I mean I've had a look down there some amazing costumes I'm really interested in the the videogames booths that's what that's that's I'm more of a video game nerd I think than a than a sci-fi nerd yeah around here no I haven't but like I say I haven't really been down there you know if the costume wasn't so uncomfortable yeah we filmed it already we've already done yeah yeah yeah we got one one minute okay now if you slow that down that will come out to about 20 22 minutes really yeah but anyway if you don't have the equipment to do that what can I say without I'm not allowed to give too much away but I can just say it gets better Jackie it gets better doesn't it like yeah it gets it gets better this man has a lot more to do as well and he is amazing the first episode of the next six is it the is it the drums one the you have a drum solo yeah kind of what's that I heard it very long I don't think it's that long but I would say it's like the it's what the episode is built around Wow we can't wait to see it thank you so much for you guys you're welcome you're welcome good luck with the show rock is the - I told him we need to have him in the costume and I'm ready to go here it's just I know and you're just looking at me like hell no get out of here you got it more interviews to do go on thank you [Music]
