Pirates of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales
Judith Raymer | May 25, 2017
I recommend enduring the lengthy credit roll as there is a surprise with which you will be rewarded! That said, two more mentions...Sir Paul McCartney appears ever so briefly as Jack’s Uncle Jack. Brief, but brilliant. Golshifteh Farahani is breathtaking.

Baywatch
Judith Raymer | May 24, 2017
In addition to the sentimental sap, the upending uproar, and...hot bodies, this film packs some seriously, outrageously, over the top, spectacular action. Sure, it’s ridiculous. Isn’t most action these days? It’s also engaging, exhilarating, all-encompassing action.

Get Out
Nathan M Rose | May 23, 2017
It was with this plot that comedian-actor, Jordan Peele (Keanu), launched his directorial debut into a film, and not just any film but one that reflects the underlying current of racism in our society as well as provides a riveting horror tale.

Girls: The Complete Sixth Season
Allison Rose | May 22, 2017
There is a reason Girls is an awarding winning show and Season Six is holding to the tradition of excellent writing and acting. The season is well thought out and gripping and gives the audience some of that “personal growth” we have been wanting from these characters.

Nathan M Rose | May 16, 2017
The Blu-ray is presented in 16:9 anaphoric widescreen that is a very nice bump over the originally released DVD version and the soundtrack really packs a punch on the action scenes.

Unforgiven
Allison Rose | May 16, 2017
Unforgiven brought Eastwood to a whole new level of filmmaking and changed the concept of the old westerns. Munny is a flawed yet human character anyone can relate to and Hackman’s performance is nuanced.

Resident Evil: The Final Chapter
Allison Rose | May 16, 2017
Mila Jovovich is impressive and her battle skills are on point and apparently, she did her own stunts, which is amazing. She commands attention in this film and not just because she is the lead. She has a presence as Alice that is undeniable.

The Space Between Us
Jennifer Broderick | May 15, 2017
Overall, The Space Between Us is a pleasant, family oriented film. The ending is almost predictable and there are really no “surprises” in the movie, itself....This is a good and relaxing weekend afternoon movie to settle down with the family to watch.
