Mad Max: Fury Road
While I can’t say I was as enthralled with Mad Max: Fury Road as most people, I did enjoy finding out what all the excitement was about. I found myself in awe over some of the stunts and impressed with much of the acting.

Far From the Madding Crowd
While the story itself isn’t all that exciting, this version is well acted and directed and overall has an excellent quality that makes it worth seeing.
Hot Pursuit
Sadly, Hot Pursuit completely missed the mark by not utilizing these two talented ladies. I‘m not sure what they saw in this film when they read the script, but, it isn’t funny, interesting or original.
Insurgent
The four hours worth of extras are the real addition that makes owning this movie even slightly worthwhile. If you are a fan who wants to have the complete set...go out and buy it, but otherwise, it is one that doesn’t really need to.
The Casual Vacancy
Never judge a book by its cover. That is one of the lessons of The Casual Vacancy, the J.K Rowling book adaptation that was a three hour miniseries on BBC and HBO.
The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel
I know the saying is “third time’s a charm”, but, for Fox Searchlight, it seems to be the second go around is charming, or at least just as charming, as the first.
The Longest Ride
The Longest Ride is about love and passion, as well as dedication and sacrifice. However, at the end of the day, it is still a Nicholas Sparks’ film and you pretty much get what you expect.
X-Men: Days of Future Past (The Rogue Cut)
I have a great idea for a new drinking game. Every time you spot a difference from the original X-Men: Days of Future Past to the new Rogue cut, take a shot! With 30 more minutes of footage you will surely be drunk!
The Gunman
Heading to Blu-ray and DVD on June 30, 2015, The Gunman reminds us that the sins of our past will always come back to haunt us.
Get Hard
I don’t think Will Ferrell (Elf, Anchorman) is funny. Yes, I said it…he isn’t funny. I know I’m opening myself up for lots of hate mail with that statement but in my defense I give you exhibit A – Get Hard (coming to Blu-ray and DVD June 30, 2015).
