Screenwriters for the 2007 action film "Transformers" will reveal the shape shifting robots set to appear in the film in a live web chat Friday.

August 18th, 2006 through a Yahoo live web chat Bob Orci and Alex Kurtzman will announce which Transformers will grace the silver screen in July of next year. Fans of the original Transformers series and toy line have been speculating for months if their favorites will be included.

The link to the web cast will be made public on Friday morning at the official website for the movie. www.TransformersMovie.com

The Transformers was a popular cartoon show and toy line in the 1980's which featured humanoid robots that could change their shape to become other, utilitarian things such as cars or boats. The adventures have continued on the small screen to this date with various incarnations.

The Transformers movie will mix live action with CGI elements to bring the gigantic robots to life in their ongoing struggle with the decepticons brought here to earth.
