According to IESB.net, a sequel will be released for the 2007 film, "Hitman". The site says that that 20th Century Fox has hired a writer for the film; Kyle Ward.
The "Kane and Lynch" writer is on the fast track in Hollywood. The aforementioned Lionsgate film will be starring Bruce Willis. He also wrote "Fiasco Heights" for Universal.
Producers for the film will be Adrian Askarieh, Daniel Alter and Chuck Gordon
"Hitman", starring Tony Olyphant, was a huge success, grossing approximately $100 million in box office sales alone. It also has spawned the Hitman video games, Volumes 1-4, with number 5 on its way in 2010.
