Disney's Alice in Wonderland Soars, Green Zone Disappoints at This Weekend's Box Off
This weekend proved disappointing for the Universal film, "Green Zone", starring Matt Damon. The film's box office earnings were only about $14.5 million.

The film, no doubt, was eclipsed by the mega-hit, "Alice In Wonderland", which is still earning the top status at the box office. The film pulled in an estimated $62 million this past weekend alone.

"She's Out of My League" came in with $9.6 million, "Remember Me", starring Robert Pattinson, only pulled in about $8.3 million, and "Our Family Wedding" earned a mere $7.6 million.

"Alice" has already become one of Disney's top 20 films of all time. Disney President of Domestic Distribution, Chuck Viane, said," In the world of blockbusters, when you don't drop 50%, it means one thing: positive word of mouth. These kinds of numbers prove that everybody's coming."
