Attendee Assualted At Comic Con 2010

Violence broke out today at Comic Con when a dispute over a seat led to an attendee stabbing another attendee in the eye. The assault happened in the main auditorium, H, minutes before Universal began showing material for Paul and Cowboys and Aliens. Reports state that an attendee held the assailant while others stood on seats to watch. Guards and paramedics moved in and quickly cleared the scene.

The early reports state that the weapon was a pen, and the stab wound was to the eye-socket. As of 5:30 PM, presentations have resumed in the auditorium.
