Big Casting News for  "The Hobbit"
Finally, some casting news in the world of Peter Jackson's "The Hobbit". It has been announced that Martin Freeman has been cast in the role of Bilbo Baggins.

Peter Jackson commented on the news, saying, "Despite the various rumors and speculation surrounding this role, there has only ever been one Bilbo Baggins for us. He says that Freeman is "intelligent, funny, surprising, and brave -- exactly like Bilbo."

The role of Thorin Oakenshield will be played by Richard Armitage, and the Dwarves Fili and Kili will be palyed by Aidan Turner and Rob Kazinsky.

Other Dwarves in the film are Graham McTavish as Dwalin; John Callen as Oin; Stephen Hunter as Bombur; Mark Hadlow as Dori; and Peter Hambleton  as Gloin.
