It has been reported that Disney has gotten rid of most of their Marvel marketing team. Dana Precious, EVP of Worldwide Marketing for Marvel's LA Studios, has reportedly been fired, as well as Jeffrey Stewart, VP of Worldwide Marketing and Jodi Miller, Manager of Worldwide Marketing. This comes after an alleged promise that these jobs were not in jeopardy.

It is said that the Marvel team has essentially been let go because Disney will be taking over the operations and will be handling Marvel movie releases themselves, such as the upcoming film, "The Avengers".

Many are wondering now if other jobs will be in jeopardy at Marvel, and if Disney will continue these "redundant jobs" firings.
