Helford will be the show's writer/executive producer/showrunner. It will be based off of the 2003 film by the same name, starring Jack Nicholson and Adam Sandler. Sheen will be playing the Nicholson character, an anger management therapist who uses some unusual tactics.
The show will be produced by Lionsgate and are expected to be bringing the show to potential buyers with the next week or so.
