Joel Kinnaman, star of "The Killing", will be starring in MGM's upcoming remake of "Robocop".  He will be playing the title role.

The film has been written by Josh Zetumer and his version of the film is said to be a bit darker and more realistic than the original.

Producing the film will be Eric Newman and Marc Abraham.
