There could be a "Fringe" film on the horizon, according to cast members. John Noble said, "The film is very possible down the line," and Joshua Jackson also said that "The show will live on in some form or another". Not much else was said in the way of the possibility of a film.
There also wasn't much said about the series fifth season. "It's only 13 episodes so I'm going to be careful with what I say because I really want you guys to experience it. I'm going to be tight lipped," said executive producer J. H. Wyman. He said that the season will pick up exactly where we left off in 419, the next day."
This will be the final season for the series, and Wyman took the time to thank the Fox network for keeping the show as long as they did. He said, "we tend to forget it's a business but they stuck with us."
The fifth and final season of Fringe debuts on September 28.
