"Alex Cross", which is set to be released this Friday, may already have a sequel in the works.
The film, though panned by some critics, was inexpensive to make, coming in at just $23 million. This will surely make money for those involved, and sparked the sequel chatter. There is reportedly a deal being put together that would use patterson's novel, "Double Cross", to be the basis for the sequel.
"Double Cross" features Cross hunting down two serial murderers, DCAK, and The Mastermind, who is Cross' former colleague Kyle Craig.
