Brandon T. Jackson who starred in "Tropic Thunder", has been cast in the upcoming "Beverly Hills Cop" series. He will be playing the role of Aaron Foley, son of Axel Foley.

The series will focus on Aaron as he "helps take down the criminal elements of the rich and famous in Beverly Hills while trying to escape the shadow of his larger-than-life father. " Eddie Murphy will be reprising his role as Axel in the series pilot.

The series is being produced by Murphy along with Shawn Ryan (The Shield).
