Due to a somewhat disappointing run at the box office, it looks like there'd won't be a sequel to "Jack Reacher".

The film, which stars Tom Cruise, has earned $152 million worldwide so far ($72M domestic, $80M foreign), and in order for the studio to consider a sequel, the film would have to earn $250 million.

It is highly unlikely that the film would be able to reach such a goal, considering it would mean doubling earnings in February with openings in Japan and China.
