Seth Rogen and James Franco, stars of the upcoming film, "The Interview", have canceled all upcoming media appearances. The move comes after some threats that were given to some theaters showing the film.
"The Interview" has gained much media attention due to the plot of the film. It follows the story of two entertainment reporters who gain access to an interview with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un, and how they are hired by the CIA to kill him.
A hacker group, who calls themselves The Guardians of Peace, threatened that there would be a "9/11" type of attack on theaters showing the film. "The world will be full of fear. Remember the 11th of September 2001. We recommend you to keep yourself distant from the places at that time. (If your house is nearby, you'd better leave.) Whatever comes in the coming days is called by the greed of Sony Pictures Entertainment."
The duo are still scheduled to attend the New York premier of the film on Thursday.
