Warner Bros. has announced that they have set a release date of July 21, 2017 for Christopher Nolan's next film. The film is, as of yet, unidentified.
We know that no matter what the project is, it is likely to be a big one, given Nolan's filmmaking history.
Warner Bros. had the challenge of holding onto talent after Jeff Robinov left Warner Bros. to start his new shingle Studio 8 at Sony, but they held onto Nolan, along with Ben Affleck, who will be co-writing a stand-alone Batman movie he'll most likely direct. They also still have Clint Eastwood, who is planning to make a film about hero pilot "Sully" Sullenberger, starring Tom Hanks.
