John Krasinski Set to Star in Amazon's Jack Ryan Series
Amazon announced today that they will be streaming through an all all new series based on Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan from Paramount and Skydance Television. The show will be available on Amazon Prime Video.

The drama will be 10 one-hour episodes, and will feature John Krasinski (The Office) as Jack Ryan.  The show will feature Ryan as an up-and-coming CIA analyst working on his first dangerous field assignment, who uncovers intel about about a terrorist situation that could possibly cause global destruction.   

Roy Price, Head of Amazon Studios, said, "We're excited to add the Jack Ryan global franchise to our robust originals pipeline. Our customers will enjoy a compelling adaptation of the action-packed spy thriller book series, further raising the bar for the quality level of storytelling that has made Prime Video a leading destination for content." 

Carlton Cuse (Bates Motel) and Graham Roland (Almost Human) will be executive producing; Roland also wrote the pilot.  The show will be co-produced with Paramount and Skydance Television.
