Sean Astin, Paul Reiser, and Linnea Berthelsen Sign on for Stranger Things

Stranger Things, the hit Netflix horror thriller, will be getting a larger cast. Sean Astin, Paul Reiser, and Linnea Berthelsen have all signed on for Season 2.

Sean Astin will play Bob Newby, the manager of the Hawkins RadioShack and high school classmate of Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder) and Sheriff Hopper (David Harbour). Paul Reiser will play Joyce Byers Dr. Owens, a higher up in the Department of Energy whose job is to handle the otherworldly events that went down in the previous season, and Linnea Berthelsen will play Roman, a girl who has suffered a lot of loss in her life, and is connected to the events that took place in Hawkins.

Season 2 is set for a 2017 release.
