Apple Announces Original Programming
Apple has thrown their hat in the ring of TV programming, announcing the release of their first two series Planet of the Apps and Carpool Karaoke.

Trailer for both series were released at the Recode Media conference where producers Ben Silverman (Planet of the Apps) and Ben Winston (Carpool Karaoke) joined the stage for the unveilings.

Apple's Eddy Cue was also on hand for the presentation, saying, "Four years from now, I don't know where we're going to be in relation to this. We're trying different things. How fast it grows or where it goes remains to be seen."

Planet of the Apps, an unscripted contest program, will feature Gwyneth Paltrow and Jessica Alba as judges. Carpool Karaoke will be very similar to what we see on Late Night Night James Corden, featuring celebrity pairings in each show.

Carpool Karaoke will premier in April but no date has been announced for the premier of Planet of the Apps.
