Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep to Star in The Post
It has been reported that Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks, and Meryl Streep will be teaming up to release "The Post", a film about the Washington Post's publication of the 1971 Pentagon Papers. The film will star Hank and Streep, and Spielberg will direct.  

The Washington began running articles based on the Pentagon Papers, which was a history if the involvement of the United States in the Vietnam War.  Their editor, Ben Bradlee, and their publisher, Kay Graham, had challenged the government about the right to publish the information. Tom Hanks (Sully) will star as Ben Bradlee and Meryl Streep (Florence Foster Jenkins) will star as Kay Graham.

The film will be distributed domestically by Fox and internationally by Amblin Entertainment, with both companies co-financing, as well.
