Production Starts on New Godzilla Film
Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures announced today that the latest installment in their cinematic "MonsterVerse" began principal photography today. This new film will pit Godzilla against some of the most popular monsters in pop culture history including Mothra and Rodan. As teased at the end of Kong: Skull Island, the Monarch agency find themselves face to face with these enormous super species who are all vying for supremacy while possibly wiping out all of the human race.

Written by Zach Shields (Krampus) and directed by Michael Dougherty (Krampus), this new film has an all-star cast including Vera Farmiga (The Conjuring), Ken Watanabe (The Last Samurai), Bradley Whitford (Get Out), Sally Hawkins (Blue Jasmine) and Stranger Things Millie Booby Brown making her feature film debut. Currently being filmed in Georgia, the movie is slated for a March 2019 release in 2D, 3D, and IMAX.
