Episode four offers us another new, ugly monster making its way to Midnight. An ancient being that terrorizes people - men specifically, in Texas and, of course, the whole gang in Midnight ends up getting involved. A beautiful, seemingly helpless Blonde with a killer body lures naughty men in and then reveals her true self. What might that be you ask?...Well, friends, She is a good old fashioned Succubus with rows upon rows of razor sharp teeth to munch down on her victims.
Meanwhile…Hightower is in hot pursuit of Manfred and Bobo comes to blows with Aubrey's Biker gang husband. Manfred though is trying to get the money he owes Hightower by helping the sister of the first Succubus's victim try to locate her irresponsible brother. Manfred is one who discovers the Succubus and her assertion that Manfred has been naughty thickens the plot as to what he has done in the past (the answer to which comes in a later episode).
While chasing down the Succubus Fiji comes across Bobo in the bar where they believe the Succubus is looking for prey. It seems Bobo went to the bar to threaten Aubry's husband but when things don't go according to plan, Fiji saves Bobo. Remember last week when I told you to find a good shipper name for Fiji and Bobo? Well you better think fast (I'm still partial to Boji). Oh yes, the two sweetest people in Midnight are about to get even more sickeningly sweet.
And can we talk about Olivia…yes she is a badass but we learn this week she is a damaged soul, which is what obviously set her on a path to become a topnotch assassin. She has an unfortunate past that tugs at our heartstrings but doesn't necessarily make up for the fact that she is a cold-blooded killer and this week we get to see her in action at what she gets paid to do. This is the most emotional we have seen Olivia to date and hopefully there will be more of these moments in the future.
So what would you like to see happen next? If you were writing the script whose story would you like to learn about most? What new hideous monster will pop up next? Enjoy Episode four for now and let me know what you think!
