Looks like Marvel's Scarlet Witch and Loki will be getting their own series through Disney's upcoming streaming service. The service, which will be released in later 2019, will stream original content as well as existing TV series and films.
There is no official comment or confirmation from Disney or Marvel just yet, but they are said to be in the early stages of planning some limited series on popular Marvel characters. It is also said that the actors who star in the films would be reprising their roles for the streaming series. The series will most likely each contain 6-8 episodes and will be overseen by Kevin Feige. All of these original series could give Netflix a run for their money seeing as how they are currently home to some Marvel series themselves, including "Daredevil", "The Punisher", "Luke Cage", "Jessica Jones" and "The Iron Fist". The expense for the new productions will be costly (into the hundreds of millions) but the content could prove quite profitable given the popularity of all the films and series already created from the Marvel Universe.
Disney has already announced some original content that will be released through this service including a "Star Wars" series, a show based on "High School Musical" and a live-action "Lady and the Tramp" film.
