Unsolved Mysteries, which aired from 1987-2010, will be making a comeback. The show will get a resurrection from Stranger Things EP Shawn Levy, via his company 21 Laps Entertainment, and Netflix.
The original series was hosted by Robert Stack an aired over 500 episodes during its run. It featured true crime stories and updates, as well as paranormal and missing person cases, that were re-enacted by actors but also featured interviews with police and family members from each case. The new 12-episode series will focus on one story per show.
Aside from Stranger Things, Levy's 21 Laps Entertainment also works with Netflix on Shadow and Bone, and Six of Crows.
