Luke Perry, star of Beverly Hills 90210 and Riverdale, has died following a massive stroke. he was 52.
Perry has been hospitalized since Wednesday after suffering from the stroke and very little info has been available since then. His rep, Arnold Robinson, told The Hollywood Reporter, "He was surrounded by his children Jack and Sophie, fiancé Wendy Madison Bauer, ex-wife Minnie Sharp, mother Ann Bennett, step-father Steve Bennett, brother Tom Perry, sister Amy Coder, and other close family and friends. The family appreciates the outpouring of support and prayers that have been extended to Luke from around the world and respectfully request privacy in this time of great mourning. No further details will be released at this time."
Perry will forever be best known as his 90210 character, Dylan McKay, a role he played for 10 seasons. The announcement of a 90210 reboot was made the same day of his stroke but Perry hadn't signed on for the series although it was rumored he would make some appearances.
