Apple held a press conference today and disclosed some information about its upcoming streaming service, Apple TV+. The presentation featured Apple's Tim Cook, along with Steven Spielberg and Oprah Winfrey.
The presentation also featured a sizzle reel in which stars, including Spielberg, J.J. Abrams, Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston, and Sofia Coppola, all spoke about the joy of creating stories for both the big and small screens.
"We're honored that the absolute best lineup of storytellers in the world - both in front of and behind the camera - are coming to Apple TV+. We're thrilled to give viewers a sneak peek of Apple TV+ and cannot wait for them to tune in starting this fall. Apple TV+ will be home to some of the highest quality original storytelling that TV and movie lovers have seen yet", said Eddy Cue, Apple's senior vice president of Internet Software and Services.
The new service will be launched in the Fall of this year but no exact date has been given yet. Apple also says that they will announce pricing at that time.
