Aleka Cooper has been set as the writer for the upcoming sequel to "The Nun". This will be another film added to "The Conjuring" franchise.

Copper's credits include "Luke Cage", "American Horror Story", "Hell Fest" and the upcoming "M3gan". 

The conjuring franchise has earned over $1.5 billion and, along with "The Conjuring" and "The Nun", includes the "Annabelle" films.

The original "Nun" film was released in 2018.
