Alf Actor Max Wright Dies at 75
Max Wright, who played Willie Tanner, the father on the 1980's sitcom "Alf", Willie Tanner, has died. He was 75. 

Since his time on "Alf", which aired from 1986-1990, Wright also had roles in "Friends" as the manager of the Central Perk coffee shop, "Norm," "Murphy Brown," "Quantum Leap," "Misfits of Science," "Cheers," "Buffalo Bill," "Taxi" and "The Drew Carey Show." 

He also starred on Broadway, earning a Tony nomination for "Ivanov" in 1998.

Wright's wife, Linda Ybarrondo, predeceased him in 2017, and he is survived by his two children.
