The 10-episode series will take place in present-day Minnesota, with Graham starring as Alex and Brady Noon playing her son, Evan. The Mighty Ducks is now a highly competitive hockey team, one that Evan gets cut from. After his dismissal, Evan and his mom decide to start their own team of hockey misfits.
The series will begin its production in Vancouver later this month with Graham executive producing with Steve Brill, who was the writer and executive producer of the films.
