It's been announced that Tom Hanks'"Greyhound", a World War II battleship drama, will premier on Apple TV+ after the current pandemic changed the original plans of a theatrical release.
The Apple streamer is said to have paid nearly $70 million for the rights to the film, which will be their biggest film release to date.
Aside from writing the film, Hanks also stars as George Krause, commander of the Navy destroyer Greyhound. The story takes place during the Battle of the Atlantic.
No release date has been announced yet but it is said to be coming soon.
