Doug Liman Set to Direct Tom Cruise Space Film

It's been announced that Doug Liman will be directing the groundbreaking Tom Cruise/NASA/Elon Musk's Space X film to be shot in outer space.

Liman and Cruise have worked together on the project from the beginning. They have also worked on other films together such as American Made and Edge of Tomorrow. Like Cruise, Liman is also a pilot and the pair make a great duo to bring this project forward.

Cruise is no stranger to doing dangerous stunts and this film will be no exception. He, along with others, will have to train to be able to make the space flight for the film. In the past, he has sustained injuries from stunts in the Mission: Impossible films, yet he doesn't slow down.
