Chadwick Boseman, Marvel's Black Panther and Jackie Robinson's 42, Passes Away From Cancer At 43

Chadwick Boseman, known for his portrayal as the lead character in Black Panther, has passed away from Colon Cancer, his representative stated.

The actor also is known for portraying Icons Jackie Robinson and James Brown was diagnosed four years ago. "A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many the films you have come to love so much", his family said in a statement.

"It was the honor of his career to bring King T'Challa to life in Black Panther.

His publicist, Nicki Fioravante told reports Boseman died at his home in the Los Angeles area surrounded by his wife and family.

Boseman endured several surgeries and chemotherapy in the past few years all while filming Marshall, Da 5 Bloods, and several other movies but never spoke publicly about his illness.
