Julia Stiles has joined the cast of Entertainment One and Dark Castle Entertainment's Orphan prequel Orphan: First Kill. It is also said that Isabelle Fuhrman will be returning to reprise her role as Esther from the 2009 film.
The film is already being shot in Winnipeg and will follow the story of Leena Klammer, who escapes from a psychiatric facility and cons her way to America by impersonating the daughter of a wealthy family.
William Brent Bell is directing with Dark Castle's Alex Mace, Hal Sadoff, and Ethan Erwin producing. David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, Jen Gorton, and Josie Liang are executive producing.
2009's film earned over $78 million at the box office worldwide.
